We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Hospital Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a leading healthcare facility in Oman. The ideal candidate should have strong GCC healthcare management experience and proven expertise in hospital administration, operations, staff management, quality standards, financial performance, and regulatory compliance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient hospital operations, maintaining high standards of patient care, improving operational performance, and supporting the organization in achieving its strategic and financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the overall day-to-day operations and administration of the hospital.
- Ensure efficient coordination between clinical, nursing, administrative, and support departments.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve hospital efficiency and patient experience.
- Monitor hospital performance indicators, operational targets, patient satisfaction, and service quality.
- Manage departmental budgets, operational expenses, and resource utilization.
- Support revenue growth, cost optimization, and overall financial performance.
- Recruit, manage, supervise, and develop hospital administrative and support staff.
- Coordinate with medical leadership to ensure smooth delivery of clinical services.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Oman Ministry of Health regulations, healthcare standards, and hospital policies.
- Maintain and improve quality assurance, patient safety, infection prevention, and risk management programs.
- Support hospital accreditation requirements and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Develop and monitor policies, procedures, and operational protocols.
- Handle patient feedback, complaints, and service-related concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Coordinate with insurance companies, suppliers, government authorities, and external stakeholders where required.
- Monitor facility, equipment, procurement, inventory, and maintenance requirements.
- Prepare management reports covering operational, financial, staffing, and performance indicators.
- Identify operational challenges and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Lead regular management meetings and ensure effective communication across departments.
- Support business development, new service implementation, and hospital expansion initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, emergency preparedness, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Additional qualifications such as MHA, MBA, MPH, or equivalent are preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of hospital management / healthcare administration experience.
- GCC healthcare management experience is mandatory.
- Previous experience in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, or other GCC healthcare environments is highly preferred.
- Proven experience managing hospital or large healthcare facility operations.
- Strong understanding of GCC healthcare regulations and operational standards.
- Experience in hospital accreditation, quality management, and patient safety is preferred.
- Strong financial, operational, leadership, and people-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work in a multicultural and fast-paced healthcare environment.
Requirements
