The General Insoector position will perform inspection activities across manufacturing, transportation, and installation phases, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Job Description

• Conduct inspections during manufacturing, transport, and installation stages to ensure adherence to approved specifications and standards.
• Verify reinforcement, formwork, casting, and curing processes in accordance with project requirements.
• Monitor lifting operations and ensure full compliance with safety procedures and regulations.
• Inspect installation of sections, including flange connections, grout placement, and tower verticality/alignment.
• Identify non-conformities, support NCR issuance, and follow up on corrective actions until closure.
• Maintain accurate QA/QC documentation, including inspection reports, checklists, and logs.
• Transportation Surveillance

• Verify packing and preservation measures, ensuring adequate protection of concrete edges and components.
• Witness load-out and lashing activities, ensuring compliance with lifting procedures and safety standards.
• Monitor internal haulage operations, including route risk controls and site receipt inspections for damages and documentation completeness.
• Installation & Erection Supervision

• Conduct pre-erection checks, including verification of foundation readiness, grout mix design, and curing status.
• Witness and monitor hybrid interface activities such as steel-to-concrete flange connections, grout application, and curing processes.
• Supervise and witness post-tensioning activities in line with approved procedures.
• Inspect component fit-out, including ladders, platforms, cable trays, and grounding systems.
• Ensure erection activities comply with environmental requirements, including weather limitations (wind speed, temperature).
• Monitor and enforce HSE compliance throughout installation and erection activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Proven experience in civil and/or mechanical inspection roles within construction or industrial projects.
• Familiarity with international standards such as EN, ASTM, and QA/QC processes including ITPs (Inspection Test Plans).
• Strong attention to detail with solid observation, reporting, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced site environments and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
