Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Engineer to join our growing security team. This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals passionate about cybersecurity. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to explore and grow in various domains including Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), Penetration Testing, and Security Operations Center (SOC) activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Depending on the track assigned, responsibilities may include:
GRC Track:
• Assist in developing and maintaining cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
• Support risk assessments and compliance audits (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, ECC).
• Help track remediation efforts and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.Penetration Testing Track:
• Participate in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of networks, applications, and systems.
• Document findings and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
• Stay updated with the latest exploits, tools, and techniques.SOC Track:
• Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools.
• Assist in incident response and investigation.
• Perform log analysis and threat hunting under supervision.Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, tools, and frameworks.
• Familiarity with networking, operating systems, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.Preferred Skills:
• Internships or academic projects in cybersecurity.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or equivalent.
• Exposure to tools like Wireshark, Nessus, Burp Suite, or Splunk.
