Job Purpose
The primary purpose of this role is to lead and oversee the cybersecurity engineering function, ensuring the protection of the company's software systems, infrastructure, and data assets. The Director will be responsible for managing technical cybersecurity teams, developing and executing robust security strategies, and operating within a senior management capacity to align security initiatives with broader business objectives.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the cybersecurity engineering function for the organization based in Riyadh
• Manage and mentor technical cybersecurity teams at a director level of experience
• Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies to protect software systems and data
• Design and engineer advanced security solutions to mitigate risks and vulnerabilities
• Collaborate with senior management to align security initiatives with business goals
• Establish and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices across the organization
• Conduct risk assessments and oversee incident response and recovery efforts
• Stay current with emerging threats and technologies to continuously improve the security posture

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Director-level experience in cybersecurity engineering
• Proven expertise in engineering security solutions
• Strong background in technical team management and leadership
• Experience in security strategy development and implementation
• Senior management experience within a software or technology company
• Deep understanding of software security, network security, and data protection
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are highly desirable
