Job Description
Job Title: Cost Controller
Department: Cost Control / Commercial
Experience Required: 5–10 Years
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Cost Controller to join our team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting project costs, ensuring expenditures remain aligned with approved budgets and supporting management with timely financial insights throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and update project cost reports, cost-to-complete, and estimate-at-completion forecasts using RIB Candy.
- Monitor project expenditures against approved budgets and identify cost variances.
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Review and validate subcontractor and supplier invoices.
- Maintain Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS) and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
- Track variation orders, claims, and provisional sums.
- Support monthly project cost reviews and management reporting.
- Reconcile project costs with finance and accounting records.
- Assist in budget preparation and cash flow forecasting.
- Coordinate with project managers, planning, procurement, and site teams.
Qualifications
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Cost Control or Quantity Surveying within the construction industry.
- Construction / contracting industry experience is mandatory.
- GCC experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience with RIB Candy or CostX (mandatory).
- Knowledge of Primavera, SAP, or equivalent ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of FIDIC contracts and commercial management principles.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Power BI experience is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Fluent English required; Arabic is an advantage.
- RICS, AACE, or PMP certifications are preferred.

📌 Note: Immediate joining required
The candidate should be residing in KSA and has a valid iqama.
