Overview of the Role
Join Our Dynamic Team at Lexus Al Badia in Dubai as a Cost Clerk!
Are you someone who loves precision, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a passion for the automotive industry? Toyota Abu Dhabi is on the lookout for a detail-oriented and proactive Cost Clerk to join our incredible team! In this key role, youāll play a vital part in managing all departmental job costs in line with retail and distributor process standards. Youāll also ensure smooth operations by returning any unacceptable job cards to the relevant department with clear, precise feedback.
What You Will Do
Handle clerical functions and maintain personnel and administrative records and procedures.
Amend computer job cards and invoices to keep the workshop running at full speed.
Prepare both external and internal job cards, ensuring flawless billing for labor, parts, oil, sublets, and consumables.
Ensure accuracy by double-checking invoices and related documents against computer statements.
Organize daily workshop performance reports to keep things running smoothly.
Prepare incentive computations and claim forms based on daily timesheets.
Required Skills for Success
3+ years of experience as a Cost Clerk within an automotive dealership.
A degree in Mechanical Engineering or an Automotive Diploma.
Strong proficiency with MS Office and office management skills.
Excellent communication skills to work effectively with the team.
About the Team
In this exciting role, youāll report directly to the Aftersales Manager and be an essential part of a fast-paced workshop environment. Youāll collaborate daily with Service Advisors, Controllers, Foremen, and Technicians to ensure everything runs smoothly.
What Equips You for the Role
Weāre looking for someone with a strong foundation, ideally in Automotive or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. If youāve got at least 3 years of experience as a Cost Clerk in an automotive dealership, we want to hear from you! Your strong office management skills and clear communication will be key to success in this role. Bonus points if youāre confident providing information and have experience with the SAP Dealer System.
