• Position: Consultant / Specialist Sports Medicine Physician
• Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
• Hospital Type: Private / Government / Multispecialty / Tertiary Care (JCI-accredited)
• Experience Required: Minimum 3+ years post specialist or board certification
• Clinical Scope: Non-surgical sports medicine, musculoskeletal care, rehabilitation, and performance optimisation
The successful candidate will work within a collaborative environment alongside orthopedic surgeons, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation specialists.

Key Responsibilities – Sports Medicine
• Diagnose and manage sports-related injuries and musculoskeletal conditions, including acute and chronic presentations.
• Provide non-surgical treatment plans, including rehabilitation protocols, physiotherapy coordination, and return-to-play strategies.
• Perform clinical assessments, functional evaluations, and movement analysis for injury prevention and performance optimisation.
• Deliver injection therapies (e.g., corticosteroid, PRP where applicable) under appropriate clinical guidance.
• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Develop and oversee injury prevention programs for athletes and active individuals.
• Provide pre-participation screening and fitness assessments for individuals and sports teams.
• Educate patients and athletes on injury prevention, recovery strategies, and long-term musculoskeletal health.
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, and patient safety programs.
• Maintain accurate and compliant electronic medical records and clinical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, ethical standards, and hospital protocols.
