A leading healthcare provider in Dubai, UAE is expanding its emergency and acute care services and is seeking a qualified Consultant / Specialist Emergency Medicine Physician to join its multidisciplinary emergency department team. Role Overview
• Position: Consultant / Specialist Emergency Medicine
• Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
• Healthcare Setting: Multispecialty hospital emergency department
• Experience Required: Minimum 3+ years post specialist or board certification
• Practice Model: Acute care within a fully equipped emergency department with access to ICU, trauma services, and advanced diagnostics
The successful candidate will provide immediate evaluation and treatment for patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries while ensuring safe, efficient, and evidence-based emergency care.

Qualifications & Board Recognition

• Arab Board

Candidates must meet eligibility requirements for DHA / DOH / MOH license. Licensing guidance and support will be provided where applicable.
Key Responsibilities – Emergency Medicine
• Provide rapid assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients presenting with acute medical, surgical, and traumatic conditions in the emergency department.
• Stabilise patients experiencing life-threatening emergencies, including cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and trauma-related conditions.
• Perform emergency medical procedures such as airway management, intubation, resuscitation, wound management, fracture stabilisation, and procedural sedation.
• Lead and participate in advanced life support and resuscitation efforts, including cardiac arrest management and trauma response.
• Utilise diagnostic tools such as point-of-care testing, imaging, and laboratory investigations to support rapid clinical decision-making.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and specialist physicians to ensure appropriate patient admission, referral, or discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation and electronic medical records in accordance with regulatory and institutional standards.
• Ensure adherence to evidence-based emergency care protocols and patient safety guidelines.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and emergency preparedness programs.
• Support efficient patient flow and triage processes to optimise emergency department performance and patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, ethical medical practice standards, and hospital policies.
