Consultant Internal Medicine | Immediate Hiring

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Internal Medicine to join a leading healthcare facility. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to adult patients, manage complex acute and chronic medical conditions, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, evidence-based patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions in adult patients.
• Conduct comprehensive medical consultations, examinations, and clinical assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings, investigations, and patient needs.
• Manage complex cases involving multiple medical conditions and coordinate care with relevant specialists.
• Manage patients with diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, respiratory disorders, gastrointestinal conditions, renal disorders, infections, and other internal medicine conditions.
• Evaluate and manage critically ill and medically complex patients in coordination with ICU and emergency teams.
• Interpret laboratory investigations, ECGs, imaging reports, and other diagnostic studies.
• Provide preventive healthcare, health screening, lifestyle counseling, and chronic disease management.
• Coordinate referrals and multidisciplinary care when specialist intervention is required.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records and clinical documentation.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and Continuing Medical Education (CME).
• Supervise and mentor junior physicians where required.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare authority regulations, hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols.
• Participate in on-call duties and emergency coverage as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
• MD / DNB / MRCP / FRCP / Arab Board or equivalent recognized postgraduate qualification in Internal Medicine.
• Valid or eligible medical license from the relevant GCC healthcare authority.
• Consultant-level experience.
• Strong clinical expertise in general and adult internal medicine.
• Excellent diagnostic, clinical decision-making, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage complex medical cases independently.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
