Civil Engineer

The Saudi Irrigation Organization (SIO) in cooperation with Applus+ is looking to develop and implement a comprehensive inspection program for all assets and facilities in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, primarily in the Al-Ahsa region. The program covers pumping stations, distribution networks, storage systems, monitoring and control systems, corrosion protection systems, and administrative buildings. The Technical Lead will coordinate the technical development of the inspection program, ensuring adherence to international standards and alignment with SIO's objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• A minimum of 7 to 15 years of experience in engineering and field inspection is necessary.
• Certified inspector with knowledge of technical specifications, standards, and inspection manual guidelines in industrial facilities such as pumping stations, distribution networks, water transmission and control systems, monitoring, and associated facilities, as well as inspection work related to agricultural drainage projects and treated water transmission. Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of water infrastructure and civil structures, including foundations, buildings, and concrete tanks.
• Evaluate structural integrity and assess settlement.
• Develop recommendations for repairs.
• Provide assistance in the preparation of inspection reports and manuals.
