This is not a standard cashier role. The position combines front-facing customer service with operational support responsibilities, requiring attention to detail, administrative confidence, and strong commercial awareness.
Key Responsibilities
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems
• Deliver exceptional customer service and product knowledge support
• Assist with daily cash reconciliation and reporting
• Support stock control, invoicing, and basic administrative tasks
• Coordinate with the Head Butcher and production team to ensure smooth store operations
• Monitor display areas to maintain presentation and hygiene standards
• Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally
• Contribute to overall store organization and operational flowRequirements
• 1–3 years’ experience in retail, food retail, specialty grocery, or similar environments
• Fluent English required; additional languages advantageous
• Strong numerical accuracy and POS proficiency
• Administrative confidence and attention to operational detail
• Professional presentation and customer-focused mindset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on retail environment
