- Assist the Chef de Partie in preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts in line with established recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure consistent product quality, presentation, and freshness across all bakery items.
- Support inventory management, stock rotation, ordering, and cost control while minimizing waste.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness throughout the work area.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth daily operations and timely production.
- Contribute ideas for new menu items and seasonal specialties while staying current with industry trends.
- Support the training and development of junior team members as required.
- Demonstrate flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays, based on operational needs.
- Uphold the hotel's service standards and deliver exceptional quality in all aspects of the role.
What You Bring:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Demi Chef De Partie in Bakery or a similar role in luxury five-star hotels.
- Strong knowledge of Food Safety, HACCP, and COSHH regulations.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Passion for pastry and baking.
- Strong work ethic with a collaborative team spirit.
