This position can be based remotely within Europe or on-site in our Dubai office, and requires flexibility to work across EMEA time zones. The successful candidate will be comfortable operating in a fast‑paced environment with evolving processes and will help design and implement scalable employment frameworks as the business grows.

What You’ll Be Doing

•
Act as the primary employment law SME for EMEA, advising on a broad range of employment and labour law matters across multiple jurisdictions.

•
Partner closely with the People/HR team to support the full employee lifecycle, including hiring, performance management, disciplinary actions, restructurings, terminations, and employee relations matters.

•
Advise on employment aspects of business growth, scaling, and organisational change, including acquisitions, restructurings, and workforce planning.

•
Draft, review, and maintain employment-related documentation, including contracts, policies, handbooks, incentive plans, and internal guidelines.

•
Support the development and implementation of employment law processes, frameworks, and infrastructure in a scaling and evolving organisation.

•
Manage employment-related disputes and claims, including coordinating with and overseeing external counsel where required.

•
Advise on employee mobility, remote work arrangements, cross‑border employment issues, and works council/employee representative matters.

•
Monitor and interpret changes in EMEA employment laws and regulations, providing proactive, practical guidance to stakeholders.

•
Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and business teams to ensure alignment with company values and risk appetite.

What We Look For In You

•
Qualified lawyer in an EU or EMEA jurisdiction, with the ability to practise in at least one European jurisdiction.

•
Strong expertise in employment and labour law, with experience advising across multiple EMEA countries.

•
Open to background (law firm and/or in‑house), with experience in fast‑paced, scaling, or high‑growth environments.

•
Proven ability to operate effectively where processes are still being built, with experience creating structure and legal infrastructure from scratch or improving existing frameworks.

•
Commercial, pragmatic mindset with the ability to balance legal risk with business objectives.

•
Experience working cross‑functionally with HR/People teams and senior business stakeholders.

•
Comfortable working independently while being a collaborative and trusted team player.

•
Strong communication, drafting, and stakeholder‑management skills.
