Associate Cybersecurity Analyst - YSREF - SMP - Yanbu

ABIS is seeking an Associate Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team supporting the YSREF SMP project in Yanbu. This entry-level role offers a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced cybersecurity professionals in monitoring, detecting, and responding to security threats. You will assist in maintaining the security posture of the organization by supporting security operations center (SOC) activities, conducting basic analysis of security alerts, and contributing to cybersecurity initiatives. This role is ideal for a motivated individual passionate about developing a career in cybersecurity and eager to expand their knowledge in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring security alerts and events using SIEM and other security tools.
• Support the investigation and analysis of potential security incidents and vulnerabilities.
• Contribute to maintaining and updating security documentation, including incident reports and knowledge bases.
• Participate in cybersecurity awareness and training activities.
• Collaborate with senior analysts and IT teams to enhance security controls and policies.
• Help maintain compliance with cybersecurity standards and regulatory requirements.
• Stay informed on emerging cybersecurity threats and industry best practices.Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT-related roles.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts, threats, and technologies.
• Familiarity with security monitoring tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH - entry level) are advantageous but not required.
