A leading healthcare facility is seeking a Western Qualified Consultant in Internal Medicine to provide comprehensive medical care for adult patients with acute and chronic medical conditions. The successful candidate will diagnose, treat, and manage a broad range of internal medicine disorders, coordinate multidisciplinary care, supervise junior physicians, and ensure the delivery of evidence-based, patient-centered care. The consultant will also contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, research, and medical education.
Requirements
- Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent).
- American Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Australian Fellowship (FRACP) in Internal Medicine, or an equivalent Western-recognized specialist qualification.
- Minimum 2β5 years of post-board/fellowship Consultant experience preferred.
- Expertise in the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic medical conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, infectious, endocrine, and gastrointestinal disorders.
- Experience in inpatient, outpatient, and emergency internal medicine care.
- Strong communication, leadership, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
