Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Human Resources (VP HR) to lead the HR function at webook.com. This leader will shape and execute people strategies that support rapid growth, foster an innovative and inclusive culture, and build the organizational capabilities needed to scale across markets.
The VP HR will be a key partner to the executive leadership team, ensuring that HR strategies and policies fuel business performance, attract top talent, and support an engaging employee experience across the company’s diverse teams.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership
• Partner with the COO and executive leadership to define and drive the HR strategy that aligns with webook.com’s business goals and Expansion Vision (regional growth and global presence).
• Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational design that supports scale, agility, and innovation.
• Champion people initiatives that support culture, performance, and talent readiness.
Talent Acquisition & Development
• Design and execute high-impact talent acquisition strategies to attract world-class professionals in tech, events, product, operations, marketing, and customer experience.
• Shape leadership development, training programs, and career pathways to nurture internal talent and future leaders.
• Lead onboarding and talent lifecycle programs that reinforce engagement and retention.
Culture, Engagement & DEI
• Build and steward an inclusive, innovative culture that reflects webook.com’s values of creativity, collaboration, and fun in a fast-paced environment.
• Drive employee engagement programs, feedback mechanisms, and workplace analytics to understand and enhance employee experience.
Performance & Reward
• Develop performance management frameworks that motivate high performance, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Lead compensation and benefits strategies that support competitive positioning across the MENA region and global talent markets.
HR Operations & Compliance
• Ensure HR policies, processes, and systems are scalable, compliant with Saudi and regional employment law, and support cross-border teams.
• Oversee HR technology tools and analytics to deliver insights into workforce trends and organizational effectiveness.
Talent & People Analytics
• Use data and metrics to guide strategic decisions in performance, retention, hiring, and workforce planning.
Leadership & Team Management
• Build, mentor, and inspire the HR leadership team to elevate HR excellence across the organization.Requirements
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• Master’s degree or executive HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
Experience
• 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably within technology, digital platforms, marketplaces, entertainment, travel, or high-growth environments.
• Proven experience as a strategic HR leader partnering with C-suite executives.
• Experience supporting multi-market teams, fast-moving product organizations, or regional expansion.
Skills & Competencies
• Strong business acumen and strategic mindset with effective communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cultural change, drive engagement, and build high-performance teams.
• Deep knowledge of HR best practices, performance management, compensation frameworks, and employment law in Saudi Arabia and regional markets.
