Role Requirements:
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Group Commercial Operations & Execution, this executive leadership role will lead ADNOC Group’s Category Management function, overseeing strategic high-value and business-critical categories to support cost-effective procurement, performance improvement, and long-term value creation across the Group.
- Lead and implement Group-wide Category Management and Market Intelligence, ensuring disciplined execution, financial savings, and alignment with ADNOC’s business strategy.
- Establish and guide cross-functional category teams across Technical and Procurement functions to develop category strategies, sourcing levers, contracting models, and supplier performance frameworks.
- Oversee tendering, commercial evaluation, contract management, change orders, claims, and governance processes to ensure compliance, transparency, and effective fulfilment of business requirements.
- Drive operational excellence, procurement capability development, stakeholder alignment, cost optimization, risk management, and continuous improvement across ADNOC Group’s procurement ecosystem.Ideal Candidate:
To be considered for this exciting leadership opportunity, candidates should bring deep category management expertise, strong commercial judgment, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across a complex Oil & Gas environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or an equivalent discipline.
- Minimum 18 years of experience in Contracts Management within a large Oil & Gas organization, including at least 10 years at progressive managerial level.
- Expert knowledge of Category Management, Contracts, Tendering practices, procurement governance, strategic sourcing, and supplier management.
- Strong contract negotiation, commercial evaluation, dispute resolution, stakeholder management, and strategic decision-making capabilities.
- Global Oil & Gas business perspective with sound experience using procurement tools such as Kraljic, Porter’s Five Forces, Purchasing Chessboard, and related category strategy frameworks.Join ADNOC and lead a high-impact procurement agenda that strengthens enterprise value, supplier performance, and competitive advantage across the Group.
