⢠Conduct periodic reviews of financial policies and procedures to identify improvement opportunities, ensuring best practices are implemented across all finance-related activities.
⢠Generate timely and accurate financial reports, including cash flow, receivables aging, and other metrics, to support management decision-making and departmental requirements.
⢠Manage Emarat's banking relationship including both national and international.
⢠Analyze cash flow and sales forecasts in collaboration with department managers to optimize resource utilization and maintain healthy daily cash balances.
⢠Forecast Emaratās cash flow position, assess borrowing needs, and recommend actions to mitigate challenges arising from late payments and cash flow issues.
⢠Drive the corporationās liquidity strategy, ensuring sufficient funds are available to meet obligations while making informed financing decisions within authority limits.
⢠Participate in feasibility studies for new projects, evaluating their financial impact on liquidity and profitability to inform strategic decision-making.
⢠Arrange and negotiate loan proposals with banks, ensuring the best financing solutions are secured for the corporationās needs.
⢠Manage all aspects of financial risk, including liquidity, credit, and operational risks, while developing tools to analyze and report on market risks.
⢠Review fuel product purchase agreements and other contracts to minimize financial risks, advising on hedging strategies to mitigate interest rate and currency risks.
⢠Ensure all financial records and transactions are maintained in compliance with Emaratās standards, promptly resolving discrepancies and optimizing accounting efficiencies.
⢠Supervise accounts receivable units to ensure timely invoicing and collection, conducting credit committee meetings to assess customer performance and payment trends.
⢠Establish and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders, including bankers and legal advisors, to support Emaratās operational objectives.
⢠Liaise with internal departments to assess operational impacts on cash positions, ensuring proactive communication and collaboration to meet corporate interests.
⢠Oversee the evaluation and management of investment opportunities, ensuring alignment with Emaratās strategic goals and risk appetite.
⢠Lead the development and execution of capital structure strategy to maintain an optimal debt-to-equity mix and calculate the companies WACC.
⢠Model capital structure scenarios, assess cost of funding, and evaluate implications for long-term shareholder value creation.
⢠Drive cross-functional working capital efficiency by improving DSO, DPO, and inventory turnover across LOBs.
⢠Monitor and improve the companyās cash conversion cycle and free cash flow metrics.
⢠Prepare investor presentations, capital market disclosures, and earnings call briefings to position Emaratās financial performance and strategic vision.
⢠Required: Bachelorās degree in finance, Accounting or a related field.
⢠Preferred: Masterās degree or an MBA.
⢠Required: Minimum of 10+ years of experience with at least 5+ yearsā experience in a managerial role.
⢠A minimum of 8 years of experience may be considered exceptional for candidates of high caliber.
⢠Preferred: Experience and knowledge in treasury, risk and receivables.
⢠Priority is for UAE National candidates.
