Venture Capital Senior Director

The Venture Capital Senior Director is responsible for leading venture capital investment strategies, managing investment portfolios, identifying high-potential opportunities, and driving strategic partnerships within the startup and innovation ecosystem. The role oversees end-to-end investment activities and supports long-term value creation across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead venture capital investment strategy and portfolio management activities.
• Identify, evaluate, and execute investment opportunities across targeted sectors.
• Conduct investment analysis, market assessments, and commercial due diligence.
• Lead negotiations, investment structuring, and transaction execution processes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with founders, investors, accelerators, and ecosystem stakeholders.
• Monitor portfolio company performance and provide strategic guidance when needed.
• Drive value creation initiatives and support portfolio growth strategies.
• Prepare investment recommendations, reports, and presentations for executive leadership and investment committees.
• Identify emerging market trends and innovation opportunities aligned with organizational strategy.
• Support fundraising activities, partnerships, and ecosystem development initiatives.
• Lead and mentor venture capital and investment teams. Requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• 12–18+ years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or investment advisory.
• Strong experience in investment evaluation, portfolio management, and deal execution.
• Deep understanding of startup ecosystems, innovation trends, and growth-stage investments.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• Proven experience managing investor and founder relationships.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and strategic thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
• Candidate must hold Saudi nationality.
