The Venture Capital Director is responsible for managing venture capital investment activities, supporting portfolio growth, identifying investment opportunities, and contributing to strategic investment initiatives. Key Responsibilities
• Lead sourcing, evaluation, and execution of venture capital investment opportunities.
• Conduct market research, financial analysis, and commercial due diligence activities.
• Support investment structuring, negotiations, and transaction execution processes.
• Manage relationships with founders, investors, startups, and ecosystem partners.
• Monitor portfolio company performance and support value creation initiatives.
• Prepare investment memos, reports, and presentations for leadership and investment committees.
• Identify emerging trends, sectors, and opportunities within the innovation ecosystem.
• Support strategic partnerships, accelerator initiatives, and ecosystem engagement activities.
• Contribute to fundraising and investment strategy discussions where applicable.
• Lead and mentor junior investment team members.
Requirements
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• 8–14+ years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or investment advisory.
• Strong experience in investment evaluation, due diligence, and portfolio management.
• Good understanding of startup ecosystems and innovation trends.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and valuation skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capability.
• Experience working with startups, accelerators, or innovation programs is a plus.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
• Candidate must hold Saudi nationality.
