Job Purpose:
To ensure all telecom installation, testing, and commissioning activities are executed in full compliance with Saudi Aramco Standards, SAES, SATIP, project specifications, and approved IFC drawings, maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and monitor Telecom systems installation including:
- Fiber Optic (OSP & ISP)
- Structured Cabling Systems
- CCTV, Access Control, and Public Address (PAGA)
- Telephone & Data Networks
- Radio, Microwave, and TETRA Systems
- Verify compliance with Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES), SAEP, and SATIP.
- Review and approve ITPs, Method Statements, Material Submittals, and Shop Drawings.
- Conduct site inspections for cable laying, termination, splicing, grounding, and equipment installation.
- Witness and verify testing & commissioning activities:
- OTDR, Power Meter Tests
- Fiber Splicing & Loss Testing
- System Integration & Functional Testing
- Coordinate with Construction, Engineering, and Commissioning teams to resolve NCRs and site issues.
- Raise, monitor, and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Site Observation Reports (SORs).
- Ensure proper as-built drawings, test reports, and handover dossiers are prepared.
- Participate in Aramco inspections, walkdowns, and audits.
- Ensure compliance with HSE and Aramco safety requirements at all times.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Certifications:
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
- Saudi Aramco Approval & CBT Pass as QC Telecom / Communication Inspector (Mandatory / Preferred)
- Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 7 to 8 years of experience in Telecom QC for Oil & Gas EPC projects.
- Strong hands-on experience in Saudi Aramco Telecom systems.
- Proven experience working with EPC contractors on Aramco projects.
Skills & Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of Aramco Telecom Standards & Specifications.
- Ability to read and interpret IFC drawings and technical documents.
- Strong inspection, documentation, and reporting skills.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills
Documents & Systems Knowledge:
- SAES-T, SAEP, SATIP
- ITPs, MIR, WIR
- FAT / SAT procedures
- As-built documentation & turnover packages
Requirements
