Overview Of The Role:

• The Technician-Elevator Installation is responsible for the efficient and safe mechanical installation of elevators, including welding on structural steel and conducting repair works on lifts and escalators. The role involves working closely with installation and maintenance teams to rectify any snags and ensure top-quality work adhering to quality, health, safety, and environmental (QHSE) standards. Success in this role requires a proactive approach to complying with set procedures and guidelines while maintaining effective communication with team members.
What You Will Do:

Elevator Installation

• Perform mechanical installation of elevators.
• Conduct welding works on mild steel structural steel.
• Assist installation and maintenance teams in rectifying snags.
• Carry out repair works for lifts and escalators.
• Help during unloading and stacking of materials.
• Adhere to QHSE and asset management system guidelines.
• Report all QHSE and asset management incidents immediately and take necessary precautions.

Required Skills To Be Successful:

• Strong mechanical installation skills for elevators.
• Proficiency in welding, particularly with mild steel structural components.
• Ability to work effectively under varying conditions and challenges.
• Knowledgeable in QHSE and asset management compliance procedures.
What Qualifies You For The Role:

• Diploma/Graduate/ITI Trade Holder in a relevant field.
• 1-3 years of experience in elevator installation and repair.
• Proficiency in MS Office for reporting and documentation purposes.
• Understanding of QHSE protocols and asset management systems.
