Position Overview

AHOY is looking for a Senior IT Specialist who can bridge technology and business needs, ensuring our IT landscape not only supports but accelerates organizational growth. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the management, maintenance, and continuous improvement of IT infrastructure and systems.
• Partner with leadership to align IT strategy with business objectives and growth plans.
• Oversee system security, data integrity, and compliance with industry best practices.
• Respond to and resolve IT issues with speed and professionalism, ensuring minimal disruption.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement new technologies to improve operational efficiency.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate IT service contracts.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to team members on IT systems and tools. Requirements

• Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 8+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
• Strong background in IT infrastructure management, networking, and systems administration.
• Proven experience aligning IT strategies with business goals in a growing organization.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, data protection, and disaster recovery planning.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
