PURPOSE:
Under the general guidance and supervision of the Materials Manager and Assistant Materials Manager within the policies and procedures is responsible for recording issues and receipts.
RELATIONSHIP:
1. Reports directly to Materials Manager.
2. Interacts and cooperates with all employees calling with store requisitions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Checks temperature of freezers / cold room daily on arrival.
2. Issues all storeroom items property requisitioned.
3. Supervises the work of storekeeper and store helper.
4. Reports to Materials Manager any variance that he may discover while performing his duties.
5. Prepares re-order requests at required re-order level.
6. Strictly follows the minimum-maximum levels for inventory items.
7. Verifies quantity, quality and expiry dates in case of food items on receipt.
8. Enforce strict check on minimizing store inventory.
9. Prepare and submits expiry list to the Materials Manager on monthly basis.
10. Assist in taking inventory of Food & Beverage, General and Operating Supplies.
11. Ensures that all store areas are clean and tidy.
12. Prepare and submits slow moving list of various categories to Materials Manager on quarterly basis.
