Store Keeper

Job purpose:

The Storekeeper manages inventory, ensuring timely receipt, issuance, and stock level maintenance of consumables, tools, and equipment. They coordinate calibrations, servicing, and supply management, ensuring compliance with regulations and preventing wastage. The role includes tracking stock levels, coordinating with vendors, and managing uniforms and protective gear.

Job responsibilities:

• To receive, verify, issue consumables and maintain stock level.

• To have effective control on workshop tools, manuals etc.

• To ensure and maintain all the equipment’s are calibrated as per specified norms and records-maintained calibration in co-ordination with Service Engineer (Equipment) .

• To ensure that all equipment’s are serviced/repaired regularly, and records are maintained properly.

• To arrange for all Tools & Equipment’s calibration in co-ordination with Service Engineer (Equipment)

• To ensure that LPO’s are issued as per the guidelines.

• To ensure that LPO’s are issued as per the guidelines for sublet and jobs are done on time

• Maintaining, stocking, service supply materials/uniforms/shoes/protective gears etc.

• Co-ordination with laundry and ensure clean uniforms for the staff

• Co-ordination with all vendors for all the supplies in time

• Submit monthly stock levels to NSD.

• To ensure compliance of Municipality regulations and maintaining of laboratory reports

• Maintain proper paint/paint materials stock

• Ensure service supply materials are supplied only based on job requirement to avoid wastages.

• Ensure that self-life items are not wasted through proactive inventory management

Educational Qualification

• University Graduate

Work Experience

• 3 to 5 years’ experience in Auto W/S Store Management/Automobile Dealer/Workshop
