Job Purpose:
To carry out assigned warehouse duties efficiently, ensuring the smooth operation of the Parts Distribution Centre (PDC).
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform assigned warehouse tasks efficiently and achieve daily operational targets.
- Ensure the accurate storage of items in designated bin locations.
- Report any shipment discrepancies promptly to the supervisor.
- Identify suitable bin locations for incoming parts based on their volume and quantity.
- Inspect and pack parts in accordance with customer specifications.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of goods as required.
- Participate in annual stock counts at the PDC and branch locations.
- Adhere to all warehouse health and safety procedures and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by submitting Kaizen suggestions to the Line Supervisor.Educational Qualifications
- Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or equivalent.Work Experience
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in warehousing and logistics.Competencies
- Physically fit, as the role involves continuous walking, standing and lifting.
- Basic computer literacy is advantageous.Languages
- Basic written and spoken English communication skills.
