About the Job

An opportunity has arisen for Steward – Stewarding to join Jumeirah Jabal Omar.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

• Adhere to all relevant Health, Safety and Environment procedures, instructions and controls so that Jumeirah Group provides world class and luxurious hospitality services to its guests.
• Ensure that high standards of personal hygiene and grooming are strictly observed and followed.
• Perform general cleaning duties as assigned by direct supervisor in accordance with established standards of performance and schedules.
• Ensure the safe, correct and economic use of stewarding equipment including (dishwashing machine, glass washing machine, pot washing machine, floor cleaning and maintenance machines, silver burnishing machine).
• Clean, wash pots, pans and other kitchen utensils in accordance with the established hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Count, sort and prepare operating equipment and other kitchen utensils for banquet functions and ensure that all kitchen equipment/utensils are maintained with high standards with minimum breakage.About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Higher Secondary School certificate
• Basic Food Hygiene and HACCP Principles Certificate.
• Proficient in English or preferred local language (written and verbal).About the Benefits
