Steel Structure QC Inspector (UAE National)

We are currently seeking a Steel Structure QC Inspector, reporting directly to the Head of the Department to join our team based in UAE, Abu Dhabi.

About the mission we offer you:

Location: Ruwais, UAE

Experience: 6 months – 1 year

Nationality: UAE Nationals only

Employment Type: Full-time – Site-based

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting quality inspections for steel structure fabrication and installation activities.

• Verify that steel works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, and international standards.

• Monitor welding activities, fit-up, alignment, bolting, and material traceability on site.

• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and QC teams to resolve quality-related issues.

• Support inspection activities such as dimensional checks, visual welding inspections, and bolt torque verification.

• Prepare and maintain daily QC reports, inspection records, and non-conformance documentation.

• Report deviations, defects, or non-compliance to the QC Engineer/Supervisor promptly.

• Ensure adherence to HSE and quality procedures while promoting safe working practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

• UAE National (Emiratisation role).

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in steel structure QC, welding inspection, or related field.

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline (preferred).

• Basic understanding of steel structure drawings, welding processes, and inspection techniques.

• Knowledge of QA/QC procedures and documentation practices.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Willingness to work in Ruwais on a site-based schedule.
