SR COST ESTIMATOR

• Deliver thorough, independent, and complete cost estimation for the tenders

• Collect all relevant / needed information from the production engineer, designing engineer, Tender manager, and /or from site visits

• Process all gathered data into clear optimal budgets and cost estimates including a planning and work sequencing

• Regular consult with colleagues, from the commercial department and the project manager about cost

• Come up creative and innovative ideas / alternatives in order ensure a competitive cost estimation and efficient work plan

• Assess proposal. prices of sub-contractors and suppliers

• Ensure gathered data and budget information is maintained and knowledge is transferred to project management and commercial department

• Assist in preparing tender / quotation documents for tendering purposes

• Ensure maintenance of database which contains prices / quotes from sub-contractors

• Closely collaborate with production engineer, colleagues from the commercial department and tender manager

• Study and analyse of Bids / Tenders technical and commercially, write scope clarification

• Identify Risks, opportunities & assumptions made within the cost estimates

• Technical skills with thorough knowledge of estimation principals
