Job purpose
As the Specialty Account Manager, you will manage specialty therapies in your assigned territory. You will lead engagement with internal and external stakeholders, deliver tailored, patient-focused scientific detailing to HCPs, support formulary and access activities, ensure therapy availability for patients, and drive delivery of agreed commercial outcomes in full compliance with GSK policies and local regulations.
Key responsibilities
• Execute commercial strategy and territory business plan to achieve agreed objectives and patient outcomes.
• Conduct regular, professional interactions with HCPs, institutions and scientific societies to drive disease awareness and appropriate use within approved indications.
• Monitor territory performance monthly and recommend corrective actions.
• Support development and rollout of local campaigns and materials, ensuring required medical and regulatory approvals are obtained.
• Develop market intelligence and contribute to accurate forecasting with marketing and trade teams.
• Coordinate with supply chain and commercial teams to support supply continuity and manage shelf-life and availability issues.
• Drive patient support initiatives and tracking that align with approved patient services and local regulations.
• Build and maintain long-term collaborative relationships with key accounts and KEEs to support patient care.
• Collaborate with market access colleagues to implement access plans for the territory.Accountabilities
• Deliver patient recruitment and end-to-end account management in line with the GSK way of working.
• Produce and implement area business plans that prioritize risks and opportunities per account.
• Ensure timely follow-up with supply and commercial teams from demand capture to order fulfilment.
• Translate intelligence and patient enrolment into robust demand forecasts.
• Optimize use of resources to maximize territory performance.Compliance and behaviors
• Fully comply with GSK codes, policies, governance processes, and applicable legal requirements.
• Obtain and rely only on approved medical and promotional materials; do not engage in off-label promotion.
• Maintain transparent, honest and collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
• Demonstrate GSK values—integrity, respect, and patient focus—in all activities.
• Participate in required compliance training and reporting.Minimum qualifications
• Degree in a science-related discipline (e.g., medicine, pharmacy, life sciences).
• Minimum 3 years’ sales experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry, ideally across multiple therapeutic areas.
• Strong presentation, scientific detailing and commercial skills.
• Experience managing relationships with HCPs, institutions and professional associations.
• Resilient, self-motivated and able to work effectively under pressure.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Proven track record of consistent high performance.Preferred experience
• Prior experience in specialty care or account management preferred.Other important information

Requirements
