Job Summary:
Responsible for the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of gas distribution systems within residential, commercial, and mixed-use buildings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Design internal gas distribution systems including piping, risers, and manifolds.
ā¢ Select and size gas pipes, regulators, meters, and safety devices.
ā¢ Ensure compliance with applicable codes and safety standards.
ā¢ Supervise installation and commissioning of gas systems.
ā¢ Perform inspection and troubleshooting of existing gas networks.
ā¢ Lead retrofit and rehabilitation projects for old buildings.
ā¢ Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and authorities.
ā¢ Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation. Requirements
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
ā¢ Strong knowledge of low- and medium-pressure gas systems.
ā¢ Experience in retrofit and rehabilitation projects.
ā¢ Bachelorās degree in Mechanical, Petroleum, or Civil Engineering.
