Job Purpose
Manage the risk based inspection standards and process for all static equipment in the plant in accordance with the international standards to ensure safe working environment, and smooth operating conditions of the machinery and assets.
Monitor performance and integrity including investigations and conducting root cause analysis for failures to ensure optimum risk mitigation and integrity of the associated equipment.
Job Specific Accountabilities
Risk-Based Inspection
Perform and report the risk based inspection activities to ensure timely addressing the equipment status and other information pertaining to asset integrity and working environment.
Review the asset reliability reports for static equipment to assure the operating condition of the related static equipment.
Assess any equipment deviation to assess the consequences of implementing the desired changes and eliminate any operational disruptions occurs.
Monitoring & Assurance
Participate in failure investigations including root cause analysis and recommend remedial measures in order to ensure static equipment are functioning properly and that all identified gaps and failures are rectified in a timely manner.
Carry out the implementation of the audit recommendations pertaining to integrity improvement action plans and follow up on open items in order to ensure that all improvement opportunities are capitalised on.
Perform quality assurance activities according to the defined safety standards on any inspection to ensure integrity of inspection activities and safety of operations.
Inspection Technology
Recommend a new technology in order to improve inspection performance.
Partner with asset management, provide technical advice, support and guidance pertaining to static equipment in order to facilitate accurate decision making and achieve business objectives.
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Metallurgy.
Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills
8 or more years of experience, including at least 2 years in inspection occupations.
Advanced troubleshooting and analysing skills.

Professional Certifications
API 579, API 580, API 571
NACE Certifications
Requirements

- •8 or more years of experience
- •At least 2 years in inspection occupations
- •Advanced troubleshooting and analyzing skills
- •Professional Certifications: API 579, API 580, API 571
- •NACE Certifications
