A prestigious Government Hospital in the UAE is seeking a highly qualified Specialist Rheumatologist with a UK Board or Australian Board Certification to join its multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and managing patients with autoimmune, inflammatory, and musculoskeletal disorders while delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care in accordance with international clinical standards.
Requirements
Diagnose, evaluate, and manage patients with rheumatic and autoimmune diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, ankylosing spondylitis, vasculitis, gout, osteoporosis, and connective tissue disorders.
Develop individualized treatment plans using conventional, biologic, and targeted disease-modifying therapies.
Perform comprehensive clinical assessments and interpret laboratory, immunological, and imaging investigations.
Monitor disease progression and adjust treatment plans to achieve optimal clinical outcomes.
Perform joint aspiration and intra-articular injections when clinically indicated.
Collaborate with orthopedics, rehabilitation medicine, nephrology, dermatology, pulmonology, and other specialties to provide multidisciplinary patient care.
Educate patients and their families on disease management, lifestyle modifications, and treatment adherence.
Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records in compliance with UAE healthcare regulations.
Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, multidisciplinary meetings, and continuing medical education (CME) activities.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, infection prevention protocols, and international clinical guidelines.
Mentor junior physicians and participate in departmental teaching and research activities where applicable.
