Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed ocular examinations and diagnostic procedures.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of ocular conditions and diseases.
- Perform specialized ophthalmic surgical procedures as required.
- Develop personalized treatment plans and follow-up care strategies.
- Educate patients and their families on eye health and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient management.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay informed of advancements in ophthalmology through continuous professional development.
- Medical degree (M.D. or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
- Completed residency in Ophthalmology with specialization.
- Valid medical license to practice in the UAE.
- Minimum 3 years of clinical and surgical experience as a Specialist Ophthalmologist.
- Proficiency in advanced ophthalmic surgical procedures.
- Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional education and research.
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
- Medical degree with specialization in Ophthalmology from an accredited institution.
- Active and valid license to practice as an Ophthalmologist.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Consultant Ophthalmologist.
- Proven expertise in performing complex ophthalmic surgeries.
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Detail-oriented with solid organizational skills.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are advantageous.
