Job Purpose
Design, monitor and recommend on Occupational Health aspects, tools, policies, procedures etc. in the company to eliminate health hazardous impact on the industrial activities in the organization, while ensuring the level of awareness of ergonomically fit practices by the related team for specific tasks.
Job Specific Accountabilities
Occupational Health Standards
Monitor the implementation of Occupational Health policy, procedures and best-fit practices to reduce the industrial risk on employees, assets, and operations.
Review and recommend on occupational health-related issues for any project; documents and existing controls to ensure they are complaints with occupational health standards and requirements.
Develop Occupational Health processes; i.e. Occupational Exposure Limit (OEL) etc. that address accepted International standards and applicable legislation, ADNOC Codes of Practice and HSE Management System requirements.
Occupational Health Development
Develop and lead the implementation of HSE Improvement Program such as: hearing conservation, heat stress management, radiation safety, air indoor quality, chemical exposure management, and other initiatives.
Review with Crisis Management all serious potential occupational health to ensure that all issues are considered and effectively mitigated through emergency planning.
Occupational Health Directory
Perform the aspect and impact analysis and studies on different tasks, operating conditions, processes, working zones and positions to address all potential risks and hazardous activities.
Record occupational health and medical analytical data to ensure proper tracking and retrieving when required.
Analyse and classify risks into levels to ensure clear protective plans in place.
Recommend appropriate occupational sampling equipment and scientific instruments for all the tools and instruments used for occupational health and medical matters.
Update the directory with the new requirements resulted from the health impact assessment studies of new projects, evaluation of possible risks of industrial major hazards.
Participate in Project Health, Safety & Environmental Reviews (PHSSER) and hazards and operability studies (HAZOP).
Monitoring & Risk Assessment
Assess Occupational Health risks, qualitatively and quantitatively, for all respective activities assessment in the company to determine the potential exposure to and routes of absorption of Occupational Health hazard agents and setup control measures to reduce exposures and mitigate the risk.
Review, advise and interpret all the respective programs and data of Employee Medical Fitness data to be integrated into actionable reports, and recommendations.
Audit workplace conditions periodically to identify prevailing health hazards, personnel risk and the type and extent of measurements required.
Prepare detailed reports of health hazard monitoring findings and keep management advised of occupational health and hygiene situation including the recommendations for remedial actions in specialized areas of Industrial Toxics and Radioactivity.
Identify and recommend on the control of substances hazardous to health which may leads to unsafe working conditions in work locations.
Manage the Occupational Health Audits, Inspection, and Investigation for the respective working areas, tasks and activities.
Occupational Health Awareness
Coordinate the developments and implementation of Occupational Health educational programs with concerned personnel to promote employee s awareness of Occupational Health issues.
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor s degree in Occupational Health, Environment, or any equivalent medical disciplines.
Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills
8 or more years of experience, including at least 2 years in occupational health or medical occupations.
Knowledge of operational risks assessments.
Understanding of industrial hygiene

Requirements
