Certification/Approval, Audit and Continued Oversight
- Ensure that all certification/approval and audit is managed effectively in line with stipulated guidelines and issue relevant certificates/approvals and/or recommend certification/approval, as per the Technical Authority Manual.
- Provide inputs in development of the annual oversight (audit and surveillance) program to ensure compliance with standards and regulations. Continued improvement towards safety should be considered as much as possible.
- Ensure timely and up to date data in Q-Pulse (auditing system) to ensure compliance with GCAA’s roles and functions.
- Ensure that investigations (e.g., ROSI) are carried out to determine the cause of incidents and prevent future occurrences and direct coordination with other disciplines (if necessary)
Surveillance Programs & Audit
- Implement corrective actions raised against the Department during internal surveillance program to ascertain alignment of Safety Affairs standards in line with international standards and continuous improvement.
- Support the administration of all auditing activities by external entities of Safety Affairs including ICAO, and IMS to ensure smooth and productive audit.
