Job Description – Specialist Gastroenterologist

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Specialist Gastroenterologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic care for patients with gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal and liver disorders.
• Conduct comprehensive patient consultations, examinations, and treatment planning.
• Perform and interpret appropriate diagnostic investigations.
• Perform gastrointestinal endoscopic procedures within the candidate's scope of practice and credentialing.
• Manage both acute and chronic gastroenterological conditions.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide appropriate patient education and follow-up care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and clinical discussions.
• Maintain compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, clinical standards, and facility policies.
• Contribute to quality improvement and patient-safety initiatives.Requirements

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Recognized Specialization in Gastroenterology.
• Valid medical registration/license in the country of practice.
• Relevant post-specialization clinical experience as a Gastroenterologist.
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
• Endoscopy experience is highly desirable.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Eligibility for DHA Specialist Gastroenterology registration/licensure is required or must be obtainable.Benefits
