Job Purpose

Drives effective implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of QHSE requirements across Facility Management operations. Strengthens safe, compliant, and reliable service delivery across soft services, hard services, contractors, accommodation, offices, workshops, utilities, transportation interfaces, and service provider activities.

Improves QHSE performance through inspections, audits, hazard identification, risk assessments, incident investigations, awareness delivery, reporting, and corrective action closure in line with company policies, regulations, contractual requirements, and integrated management system expectations.

Key Accountabilities

Facility Management QHSE Delivery

• Implement QHSE requirements across Facility Management activities and contractor-controlled work areas.

• Monitor cleaning, catering, pest control, landscaping, waste management, maintenance support, accommodation, and office activities.

• Conduct site inspections, behavioral observations, hygiene checks, and facility walkthroughs to identify QHSE gaps.

• Identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, quality defects, environmental issues, and procedural non-compliance.

• Strengthen operational safety through risk assessments, job safety analyses, and method statement reviews.

• Review permit-to-work controls to confirm hazards and controls before work starts.

Contractor and Service Provider Compliance

• Monitor contractor compliance with QHSE obligations, PPE use, equipment condition, and manpower discipline.

• Track housekeeping, waste segregation, chemical handling, food safety, and accommodation standards.

• Communicate company policies, QHSE procedures, contractual requirements, and regulatory obligations.

• Review work practices and recommend practical updates to procedures, checklists, and control measures.

Incident Management and Corrective Actions

• Participate in incident, near-miss, property damage, service failure, and customer complaint investigations.

• Identify root causes and recommend corrective and preventive actions through closure.

• Support internal and external audits across quality, safety, environment, and contractor performance.

• Track audit findings, communicate actions, and drive effective closure.

QHSE Reporting and Performance Improvement

• Maintain QHSE records, inspection reports, audit findings, action trackers, and training attendance.

• Prepare incident statistics, performance dashboards, and Facility Management QHSE reports.

• Analyze QHSE and service performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.

• Recommend improvements that enhance compliance, service quality, and operational safety.

Awareness, Emergency Preparedness and Culture

• Deliver QHSE inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions for employees and contractors.

• Promote safe work practices, emergency procedures, environmental protection, and quality expectations.

• Coordinate emergency preparedness activities across Facility Management areas.

• Maintain readiness for evacuations, spill response, first aid, and emergency communication.

• Participate in emergency response, crisis support, and business continuity activities as required.

• Promote proactive QHSE ownership with supervisors, service providers, and frontline personnel.

• Encourage hazard reporting, lessons learned, continuous improvement, and high-quality service delivery.

Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Competencies

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in safety, Environmental Science, Engineering Background, Quality Management, Facilities Management, or a related discipline. Professional certifications in QHSE, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are preferred.

Minimum Experience:

3–5 years of experience in QHSE, safety, quality, or environmental roles, preferably within Facility Management, industrial services, accommodation, utilities, remote site operations, mining, oil and gas, chemicals, or similar operational environments.
