Specialist / Consultant Spine Surgeon | Immediate Hiring

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Specialist / Consultant Spine Surgeon to join a leading healthcare facility. The successful candidate will diagnose and manage a wide range of spinal disorders, perform spinal surgical procedures, and provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care while working closely with a multidisciplinary medical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with spinal disorders and conditions.
• Perform spinal surgeries and procedures according to qualifications and clinical expertise.
• Manage degenerative spine conditions, spinal trauma, disc disorders, spinal deformities, and other complex spinal conditions.
• Perform minimally invasive spine procedures and surgical interventions where qualified.
• Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments and develop individualized surgical treatment plans.
• Provide post-operative care and monitor patient recovery and rehabilitation.
• Manage emergency spinal trauma and acute neurological conditions.
• Interpret MRI, CT scans, X-rays, and other relevant diagnostic investigations.
• Collaborate with neurologists, radiologists, physiotherapists, pain specialists, anesthesiologists, and rehabilitation teams.
• Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, surgical options, risks, benefits, and expected outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records, operative notes, and clinical documentation.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and Continuing Medical Education (CME).
• Supervise and mentor junior surgeons and medical staff where required.
• Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare authority regulations, hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols.
• Participate in on-call duties and emergency coverage as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS / equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
• MS / DNB / MCh / FRCS / Arab Board or equivalent recognized postgraduate qualification in Orthopedic Surgery or Neurosurgery with specialized training in Spine Surgery.
• Valid or eligible medical license from the relevant GCC healthcare authority.
• Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialization experience for Specialist-level positions.
• Consultant candidates should have appropriate Consultant-level qualifications and experience.
• Proven experience in spinal surgery and management of complex spinal conditions.
• Strong expertise in both operative and non-operative spine management.
• Excellent clinical judgment, surgical skills, communication, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
