Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Software Quality Assurance Engineer with 2–3 years of experience to join our growing team. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and performance of our software applications by designing, executing, and maintaining manual and automated test cases. This role requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and track defects using JIRA with proper documentation and timely resolution

• Provide regular status updates via daily/weekly reports and stakeholder meetings

• Perform end-to-end testing including functional, GUI, system, integration, and backend testing

• Validate backend data using SQL queries and ensure data integrity

• Test APIs and reporting functionalities, particularly for fintech or financial systems

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure user stories meet business requirements

• Document testing processes and maintain clear sprint records

• Assist in creating and reviewing screen mockups and support UI validation

• Identify, log, and verify defects; support bug fixing and system maintenance

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in fintech or financial platforms

• ISTQB certification is a plus

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent work experience)

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills

• Mandatory: Experience in API testing, mobile application testing, and database validation.
