ABIS is seeking a competent Site Mechanical Engineer specialized in Shutdown and Turnaround projects to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee mechanical operations during scheduled shutdowns and turnaround activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and meets quality standards. Responsibilities
• Plan, supervise, and execute mechanical engineering tasks during shutdown and turnaround projects.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure smooth workflow.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks on mechanical equipment and systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support to resolve mechanical issues on site.
• Prepare progress reports, documentation, and communicate with project stakeholders regularly.
• Assist in resource planning and allocation to meet project timelines.Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven 5+ experience in mechanical engineering roles within shutdown and turnaround projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, maintenance, and repair methodologies.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
