An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Waiter / Waitress to join Pearl Lounge in Jumeirah Beach Hotel.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables, ensuring a seamless and welcoming arrival experience.

• Confidently describe menu items, daily specials, and promotions, addressing any dietary restrictions or allergies with care and expertise.

• Take precise food and beverage orders, promptly communicating special requests to the kitchen and bar to ensure exceptional service.

• Deliver food and beverages with attention to detail, using professional techniques and ensuring consistency in presentation and service quality.

• Oversee the smooth operation of the assigned restaurant section, ensuring efficient service flow and quickly resolving any operational challenges.

• Assist in other areas as needed, such as answering phones, handling guest inquiries, and collaborating with bartenders and kitchen staff to expedite orders.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Higher Secondary School certificate or Country Specific Certification

• 2 -3 years of experience as a waiter/waitress in a luxury hotel

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong customer service orientations

• Adaptability and appreciation of cultural diversity

• Basic Computer Knowledge

• Exposure of handling Micros Cashiering system

• Proficiency in English
