Job Description

Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done. Anantara employees always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their colleagues. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:

• Assign the engineering team (Laundry & Kitchen) according to daily work schedule, to handle planned maintenance and respond to guest requests and emergency situations.
• Supervise the engineering team in the effective completion of their duties
• Work with other operational departments to ensure that they have all required engineering support to perform their duties.
• Check air conditioning, water, fire safety systems of the hotel and maintain them according to required standards.
• Close coordinate with all other departments of the hotel to maintain their equipment in day-to-day operation.
• Supervise work of external contractors on behalf of the hotel. Support external inspectors in the execution of their inspections.

Qualifications

• School education and Engineering Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar capacity
• Good interpersonal skills
• Necessary Certificates in trade or and trainings
• Very good understanding of English language with good communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently.
• Capability to organize and execute preventive maintenance schedules.
