Senior Structural Engineer

Role Summary

The Senior Structural Engineer will play a critical role in the design, review, coordination, and supervision of structural engineering works for the Rua Ajyad Project. The role requires deep technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that all structural elements are safe, compliant, cost-effective, and aligned with project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead structural design reviews and ensure compliance with approved standards, codes, and project specifications
• Oversee and coordinate structural engineering activities across consultants, contractors, and subcontractors
• Review structural calculations, drawings, and technical submissions
• Ensure constructability, safety, and quality of structural systems
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
• Participate in value engineering and risk mitigation exercises
• Support site teams by resolving structural issues during construction
• Attend technical meetings and provide expert input on structural matters
• Ensure alignment with Saudi Building Codes, international standards, and client requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s degree preferred)
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably on large-scale or high-rise projects
• Proven experience in mixed-use, hospitality, or mega-projects
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software
• Strong knowledge of international and Saudi engineering codes and standards
• Excellent coordination, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary project environment
