A prestigious Government Healthcare Facility in the UAE is seeking an experienced Senior Specialist / Consultant โ Neurosurgeon to join its highly skilled surgical team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Neurosurgeon to work within a well-established government healthcare environment, providing advanced neurosurgical care and contributing to clinical excellence.
We are particularly interested in candidates with internationally recognized qualifications, including UK CCT, Western Qualified, American Board, Australian Board, and South African Board credentials.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist/consultant-level assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of patients with neurological and neurosurgical conditions.
- Perform complex neurosurgical procedures according to clinical expertise and experience.
- Manage elective and emergency neurosurgical cases.
- Assess patients with brain, spinal, cranial, and peripheral nerve conditions and determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments and provide post-operative management.
- Manage complex and high-risk cases, including traumatic and emergency neurosurgical conditions.
- Collaborate with neurologists, neuroradiologists, anesthesiologists, intensivists, oncologists, and other multidisciplinary teams.
- Participate in surgical rounds, multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records and surgical documentation.
- Contribute to teaching, training, supervision, and mentoring of junior medical staff.
- Promote patient safety and maintain high standards of clinical governance and evidence-based practice.
- Keep up to date with advances in neurosurgical techniques, technology, and treatment protocols.
- Medical degree such as MBBS, MD, or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Recognized postgraduate qualification in Neurosurgery.
- Significant post-specialty clinical experience in Neurosurgery.
- Strong experience in managing complex neurological and neurosurgical conditions.
- Demonstrated experience performing relevant neurosurgical procedures.
- Experience in both elective and emergency neurosurgical care is highly desirable.
- Strong clinical judgment, surgical decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

Requirements
