A prestigious Government Healthcare Facility in the UAE is seeking an experienced Senior Specialist / Consultant โ Family Medicine to join its primary and integrated healthcare team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly qualified Family Medicine physician to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care across different stages of life while working within a well-established government healthcare environment.
We are particularly interested in candidates with internationally recognized qualifications, including UK CCT, Western Qualified, American Board, Australian Board, and South African Board credentials.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive family medicine care to patients across different age groups.
- Conduct consultations, clinical assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
- Manage acute and chronic medical conditions in a primary care setting.
- Develop individualized treatment and preventive care plans.
- Provide health screening, risk assessment, and disease prevention services.
- Manage patients with multiple and complex medical conditions.
- Coordinate referrals and continuity of care with relevant specialists when required.
- Provide appropriate health education and lifestyle counseling to patients and families.
- Monitor chronic disease management and support long-term patient care.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records and clinical documentation.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to teaching, training, and mentoring of junior medical staff.
- Promote patient safety, clinical governance, and evidence-based medical practice.
- Stay updated with current developments, guidelines, and best practices in Family Medicine.
- Medical degree such as MBBS, MD, or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Recognized postgraduate qualification in Family Medicine / General Practice or a relevant specialty.
- Significant post-specialty clinical experience in Family Medicine.
- Strong experience in managing patients across different age groups and a broad range of medical conditions.
- Experience in chronic disease management, preventive medicine, and primary healthcare.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
