A prestigious Government Healthcare Facility in the UAE is seeking an experienced Senior Specialist / Consultant – Dermatologist to join its expanding medical team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly qualified Dermatologist to work within a well-established government healthcare environment, providing comprehensive dermatological care and contributing to clinical excellence.
We are particularly interested in candidates with internationally recognized qualifications, including UK CCT, Western Qualified, American Board, Australian Board, and South African Board credentials.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist/consultant-level assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of dermatological conditions.
- Diagnose and manage a broad range of medical and surgical dermatology cases.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment and evidence-based practices.
- Perform dermatological procedures appropriate to the physician’s area of expertise.
- Manage complex dermatological cases and determine appropriate treatment pathways.
- Assess and treat acute and chronic skin conditions, including inflammatory, infectious, autoimmune, and pigmentary disorders.
- Perform and interpret relevant diagnostic procedures and investigations.
- Collaborate with other specialists and multidisciplinary healthcare teams when required.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records and clinical documentation.
- Participate in clinical meetings, audits, quality improvement programs, and departmental activities.
- Contribute to the teaching, supervision, and mentoring of junior medical staff.
- Maintain high standards of patient safety, clinical governance, and professional practice.
- Stay updated with advances in dermatology, treatment protocols, and evidence-based clinical practices.
- Medical degree such as MBBS, MD, or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Recognized postgraduate qualification in Dermatology.
- Significant post-specialty clinical experience in Dermatology.
- Strong clinical expertise in the diagnosis and management of a broad range of dermatological conditions.
- Experience in dermatological procedures and interventions relevant to the candidate’s expertise.
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
