Senior Specialist, AI Infrastructure

JOB PURPOSE:

Responsible for leading the development, implementation, and optimization of advanced AI infrastructure
solutions to support the organization's strategic objectives. Ensures the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of AI
systems while driving innovation and continuous improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to
integrate AI technologies seamlessly into existing systems and processes, ensuring alignment with business
goals. Has a deep understanding of AI technologies, infrastructure management, and strategic planning to
deliver high-quality solutions that enhance operational performance and decision-making capabilities. Play a
key role in mentoring junior team members and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the
organization.

Job Specific:
• Lead the design, development, and implementation of AI infrastructure solutions to support organizational goals.
• Develop and optimize scalable and reliable AI systems to enhance operational efficiency and decisionmaking.

• Conduct in-depth analyses to identify opportunities for AI-driven improvements and innovations.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in AI infrastructure management.
• Develop and maintain documentation for AI systems, including architecture, processes, and protocols.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of AI systems, implementing improvements as needed.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Stay updated on emerging AI technologies and trends to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of innovation.

• Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
• Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective business objectives.

Budgets
• Provide input for preparation of the Function / Division / Department / Section budgets, assist in the implementation of the approved Budget, and work plans to deliver business objectives.
• Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.

Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures

• Implement approved Function/ Division/ Department/ Section policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the work programs in line with Company and International standards.

Performance Management

• Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Function/ Division / Department/ Section in line with the Company Performance framework.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement

• Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
• Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with best industry standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.

Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability
• Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures, controls, applicable legislation, and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.

Reports
• Provide inputs to prepare MIS and progress reports for Company Management.

COMMUNICATION & WORKING RELATIONSHIP:
Internal:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of AI technologies.
• Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on AI infrastructure initiatives.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and training sessions to enhance team capabilities.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align AI infrastructure projects with business objectives.
• Participate in internal meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and opportunities.

External:
• Engage with external vendors and partners to evaluate and integrate AI technologies.
• Represent the organization in industry forums and conferences to stay updated on emerging trends.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with external partners to support AI initiatives.
• Communicate the organization's AI capabilities and achievements to external audiences.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills

• 10 years of experience in AI infrastructure development and management, with at least 5 years in a specialist role.
