We are seeking an accomplished Senior Project Control Manager to join JASARA, a leading program management company driving large-scale infrastructure and giga-projects across Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will lead the planning, scheduling, cost control, and performance monitoring of complex projects, ensuring delivery excellence aligned with client and Vision 2030 objectives. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in project controls, stakeholder management, and data-driven decision-making within major infrastructure or construction environments.
Key responsibilities:
- Manages the team’s deliverables through effective leadership by setting individual objectives, managing performance and developing team to maximize performance
- Leads management control, through integrated and accurate reporting and analysis of schedule, risk and baseline, for the assigned assets and their associated performance criteria.
- Guides the tracking of assigned assets/projects in developing, managing and changing their Baselines (Scope, Schedule, Cost, Risk, Assumptions & Exclusions).
- Presents progress analytics to District leadership with recommendations.
- Leads on-going and regular risk management procedures and risk reporting including schedule risk analysis in accordance with the contract, with risk function.
- Challenges contractor data related to project controls, when required, to ensure accurate measurement of project Performance Measurement.
- Leads coordination outputs generated from scope, cost, information management, interfaces and quality functions to provide integrated reporting and recommendations to support governance controls.
- Provides input into scope, cost, information management, interface and quality change processes when impacts are highlighted.
- Drives adherence to governance frameworks through project controls processes, procedure and systems.
- Leads the establishment of the program master coding architecture, integration of all functional requirements, and development of a robust, scalable reporting system across the program.
- Ensures implementation and consistent maximization of project control processes, tools and procedures.
- Establishes a reliable and accurate Earned Value Management (EVM) system, and on-going generation and interrogation of earned value reports.
- Guides the development and implementation of project governance procedures to support the adoption of best practices in project control, primarily for schedule, cost, earned value, risk, and change management processes.
- Serves as the District interface, attending regular meetings and providing strategy-type recommendations on critical matters to support decision-making.
- Provides guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for the resolution of difficult and complex project control problems.Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or postgraduate qualification in Engineering, Architecture Construction Management, Business Management or relevant field of study.
- 15 years’ relevant project controls experience, leadership, direction and technical expertise to manage complex tasks and multi-discipline projects.
- Regional experience preferred
- In-depth knowledge of project controls as applied in major construction environments.
- Demonstrate proficient use of enterprise-level management software such as PRISM, Primavera P6, Aconex, ARM, PowerBI or similar systems
- Significant discipline/industry presence recognized and valued by industry peers as an authority able to work with teams to solve technical problems and achieve a high level of assurance on project deliverables.
- Strong communication skills to articulate a clear technical direction to senior stakeholders
- Significant experience required in development, implementation, and management of business systems, including policies and procedures applicable to the role and across the project.
- Analytical and thorough, problem-solving ability
- Able to connect people and issues and drive a quick response
Requirements
