Senior Presales Engineer - Enterprise & End-User Solutions

The Senior Presales Engineer – Enterprise & End-User Solutions is responsible for designing, positioning, and supporting enterprise infrastructure and end-user computing solutions for customers across the region. The role serves as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales lifecycle, supporting strategic customer engagements, solution architecture, technical proposals, and solution validation activities.

Working closely with sales, vendors, and delivery teams, the engineer develops scalable, secure, and modern infrastructure solutions aligned with customer business and technical requirements. The role focuses on enterprise infrastructure, virtualization, hybrid cloud, end-user computing, and business continuity solutions while supporting digital transformation and data center modernization initiatives.

Requirements:

Solution Architecture & Presales Leadership

• Lead the design and positioning of enterprise infrastructure and end-user computing solutions aligned with customer requirements and business objectives
• Develop:
• High-Level Designs (HLD)
• Solution architecture documents
• Technical proposals
• Bill of Materials (BoM)
• Compliance matrices
• RFP/RFI/RFQ responses
• Lead solution sizing, architecture validation, and technical assessments for complex customer environmentsCustomer Engagement & Technical Advisory

• Conduct customer workshops, technical presentations, demonstrations, and architecture discussions
• Engage with enterprise and government customers to understand business and technical requirements
• Translate customer challenges into scalable infrastructure and end-user solutions
• Support opportunity qualification and strategic solution positioning alongside sales teams
• Lead Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and technical evaluation activitiesEnterprise Infrastructure Solutions

• Design and position solutions across:
• Servers (Rack, Blade, Hyperconverged)
• Enterprise storage solutions (SAN, NAS, SDS)
• Virtualization platforms
• Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI)
• Backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Data center modernization initiatives
• Design high availability and business continuity architectures aligned with customer requirementsCloud & Platform Solutions

• Support hybrid cloud and private cloud architecture initiatives
• Contribute to container platform discussions including:
• Kubernetes
• OpenShift
• Support automation and orchestration solution positioning with foundational knowledge of cloud-native technologiesEnd-User Computing Solutions

• Design and support solutions across:
• VDI and desktop virtualization
• Endpoint management (UEM)
• Collaboration solutions
• Laptops, workstations, and thin clients
• OS deployment and lifecycle management Vendor & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Coordinate with vendors for:
• Design validation
• Technical alignment
• Commercial and pricing support
• Work closely with Sales and Delivery teams to ensure successful solution alignment and project handover
• Support customer success initiatives through ongoing technical engagement where requiredTechnical Leadership & Knowledge Sharing

• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers across enterprise infrastructure technologies
• Lead internal technical knowledge-sharing and enablement sessions
• Contribute to technical standards, reusable templates, and best practice frameworks
• Support certification and capability development initiatives within the teamDocumentation & Best Practices

• Maintain accurate technical documentation and solution records
• Ensure proposed solutions align with customer standards and industry best practices
• Contribute to continuous improvement of technical templates, solution frameworks, and presales processesRequirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure presales, solution architecture, or system integration environments
• Strong expertise in:
• Enterprise infrastructure and data center technologies
• Virtualization and HCI platforms
• Backup and disaster recovery solutions
• End-user computing and VDI environments
• Hybrid cloud and private cloud architectures
• Strong architecture, sizing, and infrastructure design capabilities
• Good understanding of:
• Containers and Kubernetes platforms
• Automation and orchestration concepts
• High availability and disaster recovery architectures
• Hands-on or presales experience with one or more of the following vendors and technologies:
• Dell Technologies (Servers, Storage, VxRail, PowerStore)
• Nutanix
• VMware / Broadcom
• Red Hat OS and OpenShift
• Veeam / Cohesity
• Huawei
• Citrix / Omnissa (VDI)
• IBM Hardware
• Proven experience designing and positioning enterprise data center and end-user solutions
• Strong experience preparing technical proposals, compliance matrices, and customer presentations
• Experience supporting enterprise and government customer engagements is preferred
